Information stored on your device

Luggo stores your traveler profile, packing priorities, favorite items, trips, packing lists, checklist progress and Travel Passport entries locally on your device. This information supports the app features you choose to use. Luggo does not require you to create an account.

You can delete individual trips or erase local app data from Settings. Erasing app data does not cancel an Apple subscription.

Optional AI personalization

When you turn on “Personalize with AI,” Luggo sends the information needed to make the list: destination, trip dates and length, purpose, accommodation, luggage selections and weight targets, climate, activities, laundry availability, packing priorities, favorite items and available weather context.

Your name, gender identity, Travel Passport entries and marketing-attribution answer are not included in the AI request. The request is processed by Luggo’s server and Groq. If you leave AI personalization off, the packing list is generated on your device.

Weather and place services

City search uses Apple Maps. Coordinates for the city you select—not your device location—may be sent to MET Norway for forecasts and NASA POWER for historical seasonal weather estimates. Weather context may also be included in an AI request when you enable AI personalization.

Subscriptions

Apple processes purchases, payment information and subscription management. Luggo receives a signed transaction record and sends it to its server when needed to confirm access to AI personalization. Luggo does not receive your complete card details.

Anonymous acquisition analytics

If you choose to answer how you found Luggo, the app sends the selected source and a randomly generated installation identifier. Before storage, the server replaces that identifier with a one-way keyed hash. The response is not linked to your name, profile, trips, packing lists or Travel Passport.

Anonymous acquisition records are automatically deleted 24 months after their last update. You can delete your record sooner from Luggo Settings under “Your data.”

Service providers and transfers

Luggo uses service providers only to operate requested features, including Apple, Groq, MET Norway, NASA POWER and its hosting infrastructure. These providers may process information in countries other than your own and apply their own security and legal safeguards.

Security and retention

Luggo uses encrypted HTTPS connections for server requests, validates request sizes and fields, and does not intentionally log trip contents, signed transactions or credentials in the application server. On-device data remains until you delete it or remove the app. AI request data is processed to return a packing list and is not stored by Luggo’s application server. Provider and infrastructure logs may be retained under the applicable provider’s operational policies.

Children

Luggo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

• Keep AI personalization off and use the on-device planner.
• Skip the optional question about how you found Luggo.
• Delete the anonymous acquisition record from Settings.
• Delete trips individually or erase all local app data.
• Manage or cancel a subscription through your Apple Account.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Luggo changes. A revised policy will show a new effective date on this page.
